A Russian vlogger, who was arrested for his prank videos and harassment of Filipinos in his YouTube posts, was deported last Saturday, Jan. 17.
Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner Joel Anthony M. Viado said that Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, 33 years old, boarded a plane bound for Irkutsk, Russia.
Viado said that Zdorovetskiy was deported based on the Dec. 17, 2025 order of the BI’s Board of Commissioners that declared the Russian an undesirable alien.
“His name has been included in the BI’s blacklist upon his deportation,” Viado also said.
The BI said that Zdorovetskiy drew the ire of Filipinos over his videos that went viral for harassing Filipinos in Bonifacio Global City (BGC).
It also said: “Zdorovetskiy is infamous for his pranks, which he posts on social media. He recorded himself harassing a security guard, hurling expletives at a Filipina wearing a face mask, stealing a heavy-duty electric fan, and hijacking a tricycle that he later crashed into a parked jeepney.”
It added that during the inquest proceedings, Zdorovetskiy admitted his acts of harassment, and he applied for bail which was denied.
Viado warned: “The country warmly receives guests from all nations, but respect for our laws is non-negotiable. Those who engage in harassment or disruptive acts undermine public order and will be swiftly sanctioned.”
