MassKara dancers perform in Sinulog Festival

BACOLOD CITY – MassKara Festival dancers performed during the Sinulog Festival in Cebu City on Sunday, Jan. 18.

Dancers from Barangay Tangub, champion of last year's MassKara Festival, performed during a parade at Fuente Osmeña Circle in Cebu City and at the Cebu City Sports Complex.

Barangay Tangub Captain Noli Villarosa accompanied the dancers to Cebu City on Jan. 16, with representatives from the Bacolod City Tourism Office and City Mayor's Office.

This city received an invitation from the Sinulog Festival director for MassKara dancers to perform as guest contingent.

The delegation will return here on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

This city received an invitation to perform at the Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo City on Jan. 23. MassKara dancers also received an invitation to perform in Hong Kong on Feb. 15 from the Hong Kong government.
