K-drama 'Surely Tomorrow' ends with its highest ratings
The Korean drama “Surely Tomorrow” starring Park Seo-jun and Won Ji-an aired its 12th and final episode on Jan. 11.
The series depicts the heartbreaking and intense romance between Lee Kyeong-do (Park Seo-jun) and Seo Ji-woo (Won Ji-an) who dated twice when they were 20 and 28 years old and broke up.
Based on Nielsen Korea data, episode 12 of “Surely Tomorrow” garnered ratings of 4.728 percent nationwide in South Korea, and 4.741 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area.
These are the drama’s highest ratings since its premiere on Dec. 6.
"I'm truly grateful to have been able to successfully complete this precious project, ‘Surely Tomorrow.’ As I watched the first episode, I vividly remembered the hard work of the director, senior actors, and staff. I felt like I received so much help during filming, so I was filled with gratitude throughout the entire filming,” said Won Ji-an, Korean media reported.
She added, "I'm so grateful to the viewers who watched ‘Surely Tomorrow’ until the very end and cheered on Kyeong-do and Ji-woo. I hope this drama will remain a source of comfort and warmth for a long time, and that even after the show concludes, it will provide viewers with a moment of respite."
"I want to continue to grow and work even harder with a grateful heart,” she said.
