Motorcycle rider apologizes for Superman stunt in Tanjay City
BACOLOD CITY – Another dangerous stunt posted online caught the attention of the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) in Negros Oriental, prompting a motorcycle rider to surface and apologized for his actions.

The rider named Ian, who is a teacher, was caught on video doing a Superman stunt, lying face down while driving his motorcycle on the national highway of Tanjay City on March 30. The video went viral and gained mixed reactions from the public.
In a video recently posted by FC TV, Ian was seen appearing at the HPG and apologized for doing the stunt. “It is not proper to do stunts like that because it is too dangerous,” Ian said in a local dialect.
Ian apologized to those affected by his actions and advised the public, especially riders, to ride safely and not follow his stunt.
Police Senior Master Sgt. Aurelio Bodo of HPG-Negros Oriental said that such stunt would also endanger other motorists on the road as this may lead to uncontrollable driving.
The HPG will refer the case to the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and will recommend the suspension or revocation of his driver’s license.

Police had also summoned a content creator who went viral for lying down in the middle of the road with passing cars in Bacong town, Negros Oriental that also posed danger to people.
