Church personnel of the San Mateo parish church told the Manila Bulletin that some of their visitors were not only from the province and Metro Manila but also from other parts of the country including visiting ‘balikbayans’ or returning Filipinos.
Even prior to the start of the holy week, pilgrims in large groups visited the Rizal churches as part of their devotion to the saints to whom the church has been dedicated to.

Devotees and pilgrims can still visit the Jubilee churches until 2026.
