Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Ivan Uy has stepped down from his post, Malacañang bared.

Palace Press Officer and Undersecretary Claire Castro confirmed Uy's resignation on Thursday night, March 6.
"DICT Sec. Ivan John Uy's resignation was accepted by the President today," Castro told reporters in a message.
"An OIC (officer-in-charge) will fill the position until the President appoints a secretary," Castro added.
Malacañang's confirmation on Uy's resignation came hours after Castro said they still have no information on the DICT chief's resignation.
The Palace official did not mention the reason behind Uy's resignation. It was also not mentioned who will replace Uy.
