GUINAYANGAN, Quezon – Police killed on Saturday in Barangay Manggagawa here one of three wanted persons who fled a gunfight on Friday in Barangay Lubigan, this town.
The suspect was identified as Ronald Rabe, 37, a resident of Libon, Albay.

Rabe and his two companions fired at lawmen serving warrants of arrest. Four police officers were wounded.

Police requested the municipal health officer and the Quezon Forensic Unit to examine the suspect’s body.
Police Executive Master Sgt. Alex Maige has been discharged from the hospital. His three colleagues are still recuperating but in good condition.
Lawmen are conducting pursuit operation against the fleeing suspects – Roy Aramillo and Magno Rivera.
Laborer electrocuted
GUMACA, Quezon – A 29-year-old laborer was electrocuted to death in a construction site in Barangay San Vicente, this town, on Saturday.
Police identified the victim as Mark of Pagbilao, Quezon.
Investigation said the victim was electrocuted when he accidentally touched the live wire of a deep well water system connected to a plastic water tank.
Mark sustained burns and died on the spot.
