DOJAC now in Koronadal City for Region XII

The Department of Justice Action Center (DOJAC) has opened its seventh regional office in Koronadal City in South Cotabato for Region XII for free legal assistance to the public.

Aside from Region XII, the DOJ has regional DOJAC offices in Region I, Region III, Region V, Region VII, Region X, and Region XI.

"As vanguards of justice, it is our mission to ensure that every Filipino, regardless of position or status in life, has a fair and equal access to justice," said DOJ Secretary Jesus Crispin C. Remulla.

DOJ Undersecretary Margarita Gutierrez, the official in charge of DOJAC, admitted that “”for far too long, many Filipinos have faced the harsh reality that justice is often out of reach -- whether because of distance, financial constraints, or the complexity of the legal system.”

With the opening of more DOJAC regional offices, Gutierrez said “we are tearing down those barriers” as “we bring the services directly to the people’s doorstep."

The main office of DOJAC is at the DOJ in Manila.
