Ten years ago, Ivana Alawi took the role of a talent for our show "Wow Mali" with Sir Joey De Leon on TV5. (iba pa name ng ate mo nun!) She was  still a young girl at that time who wanted to give showbiz a try. (parang mas sikat pa ako. chos!) I remember our studio set up was a Coffee shop and Ivana was our barista. There was this scene where she would insinuate that she was removing her shirt for the customers. (bakit di ako ang pinaghubad?!) I felt that she was uncomfortable doing it. So, I volunteered to cover her with a towel for the scene. (bilang naka strapless shirt naman sya sa loob ng t-shirt, at di talaga mag-nude!) Thank goodness! We were able to finish the segment. (at yan yung photo na nakatakim kami ng towel!)

But she only stayed in the show for a couple of tapings because she joined GMA7’s Starstruck. She eventually became an actress and currently one of the most popular content creators in the country. (habang ako, pinaka-maganda sa lahat!)

We never had the chance to work together again. (baka iniiwasan ako?!) But recently I got an invitation from her management team to attend her Thanksgiving party for her Media friends. (unless nagkamali lang sila na maisama ako!) During the party, I didn't bother to remind her of our Wow Mali days. (ang gusto ko lang manalo sa raffle! Wagi naman ako!) But when she saw me, she immediately said: “Hello Mr. FU! Nagkasama na tayo dati!” My reply was: “Oh yes! Naman! Dahil dyan magselfie tayo!” (wala na siyang nagawa!)

“Marami akong gustong ipagpasalamat pero kung meron man akong isang bagay na gustong ipagpasalamat is yung pagmamahal sa akin. I'm very thankful for that," Ivana says (thank you rin at naalala mo ko kahit mas maganda na ako ngayon!)

Ivana admits being a content creator is a big challenge nowadays: “Mahirap maging content creator because you keep thinking of your next content. Wala akong team na nag-iisip para sakin. Ako lang lahat." (help kita girl, bet mo?!)

She also feels blessed with her showbiz commitments. (kaya no time of love daw!) : “May gagawin kaming teleserye. May movie rin this year. Yung love life saka na yun. Work muna. “ (ireto mo sakin mga manliligaw mo!)

With the upcoming elections, the sexy actress has been getting offers to endorse politicians but for now,  she only supports Agap Partylist. “Napaka-arte ko at choosy ko pagdating sa politiko. Hindi naman yan para sa akin or ikakaganda ko or para sa pamilya ko. Ito ay para sa Pilipinas. You have to be picky.” (ako sa boys picky!)

Just recently, a psychic mentioned about her health condition but she assures the public that she is healthy. “Walang katotohanan na magkaka-cancer ako sabi sa Youtube. Yung mama ko ang nag-alala roon. Sabi ko, Mama, kalma. Wala namang makakapag-predict kung kelan ka mawawala.  Lahat naman tayo darating doon. Ang nakaka-alam lang ang Diyos. (very true! May nabibiling plaster sa bibig!)"
