Navotas City lone district Rep. Toby Tiangco sees no issue with Senator Imee Marcos potentially appearing on the campaign kickoff rallies of both the administration-backed Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas slate and the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) opposition slate.
This, after PDP-Laban teased and appearance from the presidential sister during its scheduled proclamation rally for senatorial candidates on Feb. 13 at Club Filipino, Greenhills, San Juan City.
"Walang problema (No problem)," said Tiangco, President Marcos' handpicked campaign manager for Alyansa.
Senator Marcos is listed as part of Alyansa's 12-person senarorial line-up for the May 12 elections
PDP-Laban is chaired by former president Rodrigo Duterte--arguably President Marcos' most influential critic.
The Alansya will launch its campaign on Tuesday, Feb. 11 in the heart of Marcos territory in Laoag, Ilocos Norte. Tiangco said all 12 senatorial bets have been asked to attend, especially since the President would be there.
The Luzon congressman admitted that he didn't know about PDP-Laban's tease of an appearance by Senator Marcos.

"Kung lumabas siya sa dalawa edi ano, mas OK (If she comes out at both campaign rallies then, the better)," Tiangco said of the lady senator.
In the end, he reiterated that Alyansa has no plans of ditching Senator Marcos from its Senate slate. "Hindi siya aalisin (She will not be removed)."
Senator Marcos has branded herself as an independent candidate going into this year's midterm polls. She is known to be close to Vice President Sara Duterte, another administration critic.
