In a Facebook post, the OVP said that the poll body’s spokesman, Director John Rex Laudiangco, visited the agency to give a briefing on the election process during the agency’s flag-raising ceremony on Monday, Feb. 3.
“Parte ng programa ang mga panauhin mula sa Comelec, sa pangunguna ni Spokesperson Director John Rex C. Laudiangco, upang magsalita tungkol sa mga Dos and Don’ts, at nagsagawa ng dry run para sa tamang proseso ng pagboto sa araw ng eleksyon (Part of the program are the visitors from Comelec led by its Spokesperson Director John Rex C. Laudiangco, to talk about the Do’s and Don’t’s, and conduct a dry run of the correct process of voting on Election Day),” the post read.
It was accompanied by several photos showing poll body officials conducting the briefing.
Duterte herself was seen trying out the voting process and personally entering the ballot into the vote-counting machines.
Official photos with the Comelec officers were also posted. Joining them were Undersecretary Zuleika Lopez, the Vice President’s chief-of-staff, and other OVP officials.
To recall, Duterte claimed Lopez tendered her resignation following her detention at the House of Representatives, which looked into the Vice President’s alleged misuse of confidential funds.
Meanwhile, the OVP said Duterte also swore in new officials of the Office of the Vice President Employees’ Association (OVPEA), which aimed to strengthen the cooperation among OVP employees.
“Bilang pagtatapos, nagbigay ng mensahe ng pasasalamat si Vice President Sara Z. Duterte at bumati ng Happy Lunar New Year sa lahat (To conclude the event, Vice President Sara Z. Duterte delivered a message of thanks and greeted everyone a Happy Lunar New Year),” the post added.
