McDonald's turns up the heat with new chili con carne dunk

The popular food chain adds chili con carne dunk alongside returning cheese dunk

McDonald's Philippines has introduced a new sauce option for its burgers and snacks with the launch of the chili con carne dunk, following the recent return of the cheese dunk.

The chili con carne dunk features premium ground beef simmered in a blend of spices, offering a rich and savory flavor to complement McDonald's menu items.

"We Filipinos love our sawsawan. With our Double Dunks, we’re celebrating this uniquely Filipino eating habit by allowing our customers to take their McDonald's experience to the next level with not just one, but two extraordinary dunking options," said Ashley Santillan-Delgado, McDonald's Philippines’ marketing director.

Customers can pair the cheese or chili con carne dunk with cheeseburgers, McNuggets, or fries.

"If you thought your favorite McDonald's cheeseburger couldn't get any better with the cheese dunk, we're doubling down on our delicious offerings," Santillan-Delgado said. "Whether you are Team Cheese or Team Chili Con Carne, or both, you’ll have the perfect dunk to make your day."

The Double Dunk is available for dine-in, takeout, drive-thru, and delivery. A limited-time promotion on the McDonald's App offers a Double Dunk meal—including a cheeseburger, small fries, a drink, and both dunk flavors—for P175 from Feb. 28 to March 14.

The cheese and chili con carne dunks are available starting Feb. 16 while supplies last.
