The Rizal provincial government has received over $100,000 donation from the Japanese government to help around 300 persons with disabilities (PWD) in the province to build their livelihoods.

Rizal Gov. Nina Ynares said Japan, through its Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Society Project (GGP), has given the financial assistance to PWDs at the Tahanang Walang Hagdan Inc. in Cainta.

"To our Japanese friends and to H.E. Ambassador Endo Kazuya, 𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘰𝘻𝘢𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘶! We are beyond thankful for your help, and may we continue to celebrate the enduring friendship between our nations," Ynares said.

GGP is a program of the Japanese government that offers financial assistance for development projects designed to meet the diverse needs of developing countries.

This program supports projects proposed by various bodies such as non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and local government authorities.
