Vice Ganda is poised to revive his talk program, Gandang Gabi Vice, on ABS-CBN. GGV is one of the most entertaining interview shows Philippine TV has ever seen and it deserves to be on air again. Thanks to VG’s quick wit, funny asides, and the production team’s edgy gimmicks.       

My other dream is to see Martin Nievera again in a late-night talk show. No one can beat him on that slot.

Speaking of interviews, Rico Hizon is such a pleasant watch on ANC via his months-old program, Beyond The Exchange. Rico is one guy who can shift from hard to soft news, socio-economic issues to entertainment with ease. His interviews are filled with probing questions, never offensive, rendered with grace and humor. When he tackles entertainment issues or personalities, you won’t see a trace of condescension, unlike some pretentious hosts, who think entertainment is trashy and yet they bask in it.

Riding on career success in 2023 and 2024, Marian Rivera says 2025 will be a doubly busy year for her.

Without revealing details, the veteran actress said in the works are a new TV series and a movie or two. Marian’s more recent film outputs, Rewind and Balota, have made her a box office attraction and not just a top-rating TV star.

During a recent contract signing as model for Ecran De Luxe Sunscreen, the actress-wife of Dingdong Dantes admitted it is always  hard to leave her two children, a girl and a boy, while she goes to work with a heavy heart.

She said she makes up for her occasional leaves by being hands-on as a mother, waking up early in the morning to bathe them, feed them breakfast, and bring them to school. She says she doesn’t want to miss out on these parental duties, recalling an instance when she had to slide her work commitment in favor of her daughter’s school presentation.

As a parent, Marian goes for healthy living. She makes sure her kids take their healthy juice daily, a merry blend of carrots, celery and apple.

There are no food restrictions, however, for the children. Chocolates are fine, “wag lang sobra.”

She also takes care of their skin, young as they are. Ecran de Luxe is described as a high-quality sunscreen designed to provide protection against harmful UV rays.

The event was hosted by Luxe Beauty and Wellness Group CEO,  Anna Magkawas.
