  • This is year 3 of Anna's Thanksgiving celebration for her Luxe Beauty and Wellness group, and this is my second year of hosting at the Red Carpet.

Beauty and wellness Guru Anna Magkawas recently treated her friends and supporters to a Masquerade Ball at the Edsa Shangrila Hotel. (may pa-maskara?!) This is year 3 of Anna’s Thanksgiving celebration for her Luxe Beauty and Wellness group, and this is my second year of hosting at the Red Carpet. (malapit nako maging reyna ng red carpet!)

As expected, many beautiful people attended the party, like Aubrey Miles, who arrived with her husband Troy Montero. (mahal na kita bro!) Aubrey is one of Ms. Anna’s first batch of endorsers. The couple recently had a controversial revelation about their relationship. (may pa-reveal?!) Aubrey is set to appear on a new teleserye while Troy just finished a show. (dahil dyan may time ka na sakin bro!)

“May bago ulit na controversy?! (laughs) Actually I got another offer from a station. Let’s see if another soap is scheduled and ok. Pero so far, pwede pa naman ulit," Aubrey shares. (Anong soap ni Troy pag naliligo?!)

Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Winwyn Marquez was a special guest because Anna appointed her to be Muntinlupa’s official candidate for the Miss Universe Philippines pageant. (local director ang ate mo Anna!)

“Di ko pwede i-reveal masyado yung preparation kasi wala nang surprise sa mga tao. But it doesn’t mean na nag-international pageant nako, di nako mag undergo ng training. So I have been training very hard para naman hindi madisappoint yung mga tao and they really have to see ano yung gagawin ko sa stage," Winwyn says (tornado walk noon, ano naman ngayon?!)

Winwyn is in her “fighting form” because aside from hoping to represent the country again, she also makes this pageant comeback to inspire her fellow mothers. “Di naman mawawala yung pressure, but it’s a good kind of pressure because it motivates you to do better. Pag wala kasing pressure minsan, nagrerelax tayo. So I like it that there’s pressure para yung motivation ko 100 percent pa rin.” (I don’t feel any pressure right now!)

Meanwhile, seeing Ruffa Gutierrez after so many years was a blast. I used to work with her on several TV5 shows. (kaya tawanan na may halong hiyawan kami sa red carpet!)  “I miss you Mr. Fu! This takes me back so many years ago when he hosted Paparazzi together on TV5! Pero wait dito ka, (pinalipat ako ng pwesto) kasi ito anggulo ko. (laughs.)” (nakakaloka yung pinalitan nya blocking namin para sa anggulo nya!)

Ruffa has maintained her beauty queen aura. “I super love the collavera. But may isa pa akong favorite, ay wait bawal pa raw sabihin, may sumesenyas na bawal pa raw sabihin. Pero basta yung collavera, I like it kasi pumuputi ako. I take it regularly. Pampaganda ng kutis. Ang collagen kailangan natin sa katawan lalo at our age! How young are you? Oh sige we are both 25!” (bet ko yang forever 25!)
