CEBU CITY – Close to P10-million worth of suspected shabu was seized from two individuals, including a 15-year-old boy, in separate anti-illegal drug operations on Sunday, Dec. 28.
Police said the boy yielded 180 grams of shabu worth P1.2 million when he was rescued by operatives of the Mambaling Police Station on Sunday night. The buy-bust operation took place in Sitio Puntod, Barangay Mambaling. The boy was later turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Services.
In Bogo City, northern Cebu, a 34-year-old man was caught possessing shabu worth P7.5 million when police arrested him.
Police identified the suspect as Edcel Rafols Flores, a resident of Barangay Don Pedro, Bogo.
Police said the suspect’s alleged cohort, identified as Stevenon Hatamosa, was able to escape.
