Nine uniformed personnel of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) have been promoted to the rank of corrections senior superintendent.
The newly promoted officials received their new rank and took their oaths of office last Saturday, Dec. 27, before BuCor Director General Gregorio Pio P. Catapang Jr.
Promoted were Corrections Senior Superintendents Raul P. Levita, Gary Garcia, Lucio Guevarra, Roger Boncales, Ruben Formoso, Alfredo Devanadera Jr., and Eduardo Gogorza; and Corrections Technical Senior Superintendents Marjorie Ann P. Sanidad and Noel M. Marquez.
“This is your moment, but it is also a call to all of us to continue striving for excellence, to support one another, and to foster an environment where everyone can thrive,” Catapang told them.
He reminded them of their responsibility and warned them of sanctions if they fail to perform their job well.
“Don’t fail me. Tatanggalin ko kayo sa serbisyo ‘pag palpak kayo (I will remove you from service if you do a bad job),” he warned.
