Castro's Christmas wish? No more obstructionists, destabilizers
PCO Undersecretary Claire Castro (Betheena Unite)
Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro is wishing for an orderly Philippines with no more obstructionists and destabilizers.
"Ang Christmas wish ko, sana wala nang obstructionist saka destabilizers. Maging maayos ang Pilipinas, magtulong tulong para sa mga kababayan natin. Yun lang (My Christmas wish is that there will no longer be any obstructionists and destabilizers. May the Philippines be orderly, with everyone working together to help our fellow citizens. That’s all)," Castro said on Friday, Dec. 19.
Castro shared her Christmas wish when asked by reporters after her regular press briefing in Malacañang.
The Palace press officer often branded as obstructionists those who criticize President Marcos sans basis and proof, saying they are only fabricating narratives to divert attention from real issues.
The Palace has also been dealing with destabilization plots. One of the recent rumored coup attempts was the alleged effort to change the leadership through a military-backed reset.
Malacañang, through Castro, then stressed that the people behind the "transition council" only have one goal—to remove President Marcos from office for their "own vested interests."
