Instead of focusing solely on traditional piloting mechanics, the A1 emphasizes presence and creativity, allowing users to stay in the moment while capturing every possible angle in the air.
According to Henry Hsu, Principal Consultant at Insta360, Antigravity’s innovation philosophy is grounded in the real-world needs of creators. He shared that the brand positions itself as an industry challenger, continuously pushing boundaries to deliver game-changing experiences. With the A1, Antigravity aims to introduce a completely new way to experience flight -- one that is immersive, intuitive, and creatively freeing for both beginners and seasoned pilots.
Unlike conventional drones, the Antigravity A1 is built around a headset-first flying experience. The Vision Goggles and Grip Controller serve as the core interface, enabling users to pilot the drone through intuitive point-to-fly motion control. By steering with natural hand movements, pilots can significantly reduce the learning curve while maintaining precise control. For experienced users, classic FPV controls are still available, allowing the drone to grow alongside the pilot’s skill set. Combined with high-resolution Micro-OLED displays and real-time head tracking, the system delivers a deeply immersive sensation of flight rather than simply operating an aerial camera.
At the heart of the Antigravity A1 is its dual-lens camera system capable of capturing 8K 360 video.
