3,829 illegal aliens, including POGO workers, deported in 2025 -- BI

A total of 3,829 illegal aliens, including those who worked for the now illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs), had been deported by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) this year.
BI Spokesperson Dana Sandoval said the illegal aliens were deported from Jan. 1 to Nov. 30, 2025.
Sandoval said “this could be the largest number of deportations done by the BI.”
She said that more than half of those deported were involved in POGO operations.
She added that the deportations were boosted by the Anti-POGO Law that was signed into law by President Marcos.
