Restaurant group commits one day of profits to typhoon recovery

Standard Hospitality Group to channel all earnings on December 3 to relief and rebuilding efforts for communities hit by Typhoons Tino, Uwan and Verbena

Standard Hospitality Group is channeling its kitchens toward community recovery next week, as shared in an announcement posted on the official Facebook page of Yabu House of Katsu.
On December 3, the group will donate 100 percent of profits from all SHG restaurants—Yabu House of Katsu, Ippudo, Kiwami, Elephant Grounds and Hikiniku to Come—to For The Future, an organization focused on relief efforts and long-term rebuilding. The initiative aims to support families still recovering from Typhoons Tino, Uwan and Verbena, whose road to rehabilitation continues quietly and often out of public view.
The post underscores that recovery goes beyond immediate response, noting that many households are still working to restore normal routines. Diners who visit any of the participating restaurants on December 3 will be contributing directly to that effort, with every order counted toward the donation.
