We recently attended the grand opening of Aire32 at The Westin Manila, held last October 22, a night that brought together light, sound, and the unmistakable pulse of the city. 32 floors above the Ortigas district, guests toasted to new beginnings as DJ Jimmy Nocon filled the air with upbeat rhythms, while the award-winning Alab Poi LED Dancers lit up the skyline with a kinetic glow.
Perched on the top floor of The Westin Manila, Aire32 offers a fine-casual setting that feels both sophisticated and unhurried. As the name suggests, pronounced ai-re, the Spanish word for “air,” the space is designed to evoke ease, openness, and connection. Guests can take in the sunset from plush lounge chairs or gather around the bar as the city lights come alive.

“It is a pleasure to welcome our guests to this new setting, to experience the vibe and view from this side of the town, 32 floors above the ground,” says General Manager Alexander Dietzsch. “Since the bar’s soft opening last August, we’ve had the privilege of hosting various events and gatherings, which are testament to all the possibilities this space offers, apart from being a place to escape and unwind from sunset until late night.”
Developed by Robinsons Land Corporation and managed by Marriott International, The Westin Manila brings its wellness philosophy into Aire32’s cocktail program. The bar takes a mindful approach to drinking, serving a curated list of low-alcohol cocktails, mocktails, and spirits free from artificial additives. Its beverage menu leans toward sustainability, spotlighting small producers and local ingredients for balanced, inventive flavors.

“Our carefully curated drink collection includes low-alcohol cocktails for conscious consumption,” Alexander explains. “Other unique offerings include well-balanced mocktails that are both relaxing and uplifting. Our selection includes spirits without artificial additives, sourced from small producers who prioritize quality over large-scale production.”
The bar’s menu extends to tapas and pica-pica, a nod to Spanish conviviality. Some of the small plates come from the hotel’s own restaurant, Cantabria by Chele Gonzalez, known for its authentic flavors from northern Spain. Together, the food and drinks form an effortless pairing that encourages lingering conversations and shared plates as the city hums below.

Aire32’s design aligns with Westin’s biophilic principles, integrating natural textures and muted tones to create harmony between indoor and outdoor elements. Its layout features flexible seating options, from bar stools and dining tables to an enclosed private room that can accommodate 20 guests. The entire space can be booked for exclusive gatherings of up to 75 guests, making it ideal for corporate functions or intimate weddings.
“Every corner and detail in Aire32 have been thoughtfully put together to cater to different events and themes,” Alexander adds. “While the bar regularly operates from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., we also accommodate corporate events, activations, and socials.”

The venue’s upgrades include built-in, high-quality speakers for live sets and a ceiling-mounted 20,000-lumen projector for immersive visuals, both enhancing Aire32’s versatility as an events space.
From its mindful beverage program to its sweeping city views, Aire32 captures what The Westin Manila stands for: balance, well-being, and modern sophistication. The night’s celebration reflected that ethos perfectly, unhurried, polished, and alive with possibility.
Aire32 is open daily from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Book a table via qrco.de/Aire32 or email [email protected] for event bookings and group reservations. Follow @aire32.manila and @westinmanilahotel on Facebook and Instagram for updates and announcements.
