DOJ has new spokesperson

Prosecution Attorney Raphael Niccolo L. Martinez has been named the new spokesperson of the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Martinez replaced then DOJ assistant secretary and spokesperson Jose Dominic Clavano IV who resigned and joined Ombudsman Jesus Crispin C. Remulla at the Office of the Ombudsman (OMB) as assistant Ombudsman.
He joined the DOJ early this year and was assigned as prosecution attorney at the Office of the Secretary of Justice Prosecution Staff (OSJPS) and at the Office of the Prosecutor General (OPG).
Prior to joining the DOJ, Martinez was an associate of the Platon Martinez Flores San Pedro Leano Law Offices from 2022 to 2024.
He took up law at the Ateneo de Manila School of Law and passed the Bar examinations in 2021.
