WTFu by MR. FU: Marites birthdays

Two of my fellow hosts at Marites University (MU) recently celebrated their birthdays: Jun Nardo (Sept. 25) and Rose Garcia  (Oct. 13), and with that, I am dedicating this space to them. (Bilang feeling ko close ako! tribute ba ito?!)

Before joining them in hosting MU, I got to see Jun at a media con I was hosting.  I congratulated him because I would always see their show on my social media feed. I told him I like the show’s glossy visuals (pangmayaman! At di ko siya ineechos ha!) He thanked me and promised to relay my message to the production team. (unless chinacharot nya lang ako!)

Rose, on the other hand, used to interview me during my TV5 stint. (wala siyang choice!) We were also together in Bangkok, Thailand, three years ago (gift ni Nay Lolit Solis sa mga anak anakan nya!) I also congratulated her when I saw her post about MU on Instagram. She responded and volunteered to introduce me to the MU bosses. I eventually became a regular host of the show (may napala yung mga pag congrats ko ha!)

For our avid viewers, they see Jun as the “mataray “ host while Rose as the  “matapang” one. (so totoo ba?!)

Jun has been in the entertainment industry for decades now.  (panahon pa ata ng Zarzuela!) He knows showbiz by heart. (nakailang demanda na rin yan!) He has worked with several production teams.  (kung saan saan na rin sya dumapo!) His “mataray mode” is just normal.  (pero hindi yun para mang-away ha!) Many netizens would even find it amusing, especially when he says, “I don’t care!”  I hate him/her!” and his usual statements (yung mga pabitin effect!) “Birds of the same…..” and his favorite line to me: “You are the root of all…..!” (that’s Jun Nardo for you!)

Rose is a veteran showbiz columnist. (so payag ba siya sa term na beterana?!) She is the hardest-working host on the show. (sure na may bitbit na showbiz news at updates!) In media cons of celebrities, she is always expected to ask the right questions. (at yung mga takot itanong, sya magtatanong! Walang makakapigil!)In our show, she has her distinct way of presenting her stories and opinions. (may resibo ang tita nyo!walang makakaharang!)
