KapeCon 2025 brews up the country's biggest coffee home festival in Makati
Two-day celebration brings the Coffee Home Brewers community to life this October
Coffee lovers are gearing up for a caffeine-filled weekend as KapeCon 2025 takes over Paseo de Roxas Avenue in Makati City on October 11 to 12, 2025. Organized by Coffee Home Brewers (CHB), the country’s largest online community of coffee enthusiasts, the festival promises two full days of discovery, learning, and celebration for everyone who shares a passion for the perfect brew.
“From an online community to a nationwide movement, CHB is proof that coffee brings people together,” said Rosario Juan, founder of Coffee Home Brewers. “KapeCon 2025 is our way of celebrating this passion in person.”
A community brought to life
What began as a simple Facebook group for home brewers has since grown into a network of more than 66,000 members across the Philippines. From its first grand gathering in 2023, CHB has evolved into a hub where hobbyists, roasters, and professionals exchange tips, showcase techniques, and share their love for coffee. KapeCon 2025 is the community’s biggest leap yet—a large-scale festival that brings its online culture to the real world.
What’s brewing this year
This year’s event features over 50 booths and pop-ups from local coffee shops, roasters, and equipment distributors. Guests can explore the latest brewing gear and accessories, join hands-on sessions and workshops, and take part in interactive challenges and community-led activities. Limited-edition merchandise, exclusive CHB collectibles, and the launch of the CHB Mystery Subscription Box are also set to draw enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
Makati as a hub for coffee and culture
In an official statement from Make It Makati, organizers expressed their enthusiasm for hosting the event in the country’s financial district: “Makati has always been a hub for culture and connection. With KapeCon 2025, we’re proud to welcome the country’s coffee community to the heart of the city.”
Gates open at 10 a.m. each day, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant home brewing scene. With its mix of learning, sharing, and camaraderie, KapeCon 2025 celebrates not just coffee—but the growing community that keeps it alive and brewing.
