Donny Pangilinan
Rare are the actors within the league of Donny Pangilinan, below 30, who have been proving themselves as men for others. The young actor’s recent efforts in the name of charity are nothing short of commendable.
Through social media, we learned of Donny’s donation of a million pesos to his primary school, The Learning Tree in Quezon City. The young actor said he owes his former school a lot for his full development as a person with the right values in life.
A few months later, Donny slashed P300,000 from his earnings to help street vendors whose sad stories he heard on It’s Showtime. Donny reportedly called up Vice Ganda, telling him how he was so touched by the vendors’ stories that inspired him to send them financial help.
These little efforts make Donny a true idol, someone worth emulating. Because he is a blessing to others, he becomes even more blessed.
Donny is among the top leading men in the industry, having scored a number of hit TV shows to his credit. His success on TV has also made him a valued endorser.
Donny’s partnership with Belle Mariano, Don-Belle, is by far the most popular, and possibly also the most bankable, loveteam among the younger set of actors working today.
The couple are behind top-rating series,‘Can't Buy Me Love,’ and the movies, An Inconvenient Love and Love is Color Blind.
As we write, Donny is doing an ABS-CBN action-drama series called Roja, opposite rising star, Kyle Echarri. May his career soar to greater heights, so he can continue to be a blessing to countless others.
