Sushi Nori marks 10 years with new dishes, loyalty program, and a Japan trip raffle

Sushi Nori, one of Metro Manila’s homegrown Japanese dining chains, is celebrating a decade of rolling out fast, fresh, and flavorful sushi. Since opening its first branch at SM Aura in 2015, the brand has grown to nine locations across the metro, offering sushi rolls, temaki, and poké bowls designed to be both approachable and satisfying.
“Sushi Nori was born out of a simple idea, which was to make sushi less intimidating and more approachable for everyone,” said Milka Romero, founder and CEO. “We wanted to prove that Japanese food could be fresh, fun, and accessible without losing the quality people deserve. That mission still drives us today.”
Loyalty rewards and new menu items
To mark its milestone, Sushi Nori has launched The Sushi Club, an exclusive membership program with perks such as 20% off during members’ birthday months, weekday discounts, free desserts with select purchases, and other giveaways.
The celebration also comes with new dishes: a Chirashi Cake layered with sashimi and rice, indulgent Scallop Sushi Rolls, comforting gyoza, and Katsu Curry Don. Party platters are also being introduced for easy sharing at gatherings, along with Sushi Nori Carts — portable stations that bring freshly made rolls and sashimi directly to events.
A trip to Japan
From October 1 to November 30, 2025, Sushi Club members will earn raffle entries for every ₱1,000 spent in a single receipt, with a maximum of three entries per day. The winner, to be drawn on December 1 and announced on December 2, will receive a roundtrip ticket to Osaka, Japan — the birthplace of sushi.
Rolling forward
With branches in Rockwell, Glorietta, BGC, Alabang Town Center, U.P. Town Center, SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, SM Aura, and Nuvali, Sushi Nori continues to expand its presence. From quick solo meals to family feasts, the brand has positioned itself as a go-to spot for sushi cravings in the city.
