Raffles Makati celebrates heritage with Glenfiddich and Aston Martin partnership

Whisky, racing, and refined dining come together this month at Raffles Makati, which is hosting a series of limited-time experiences following the launch of Glenfiddich’s 16-year-old single malt whisky in partnership with Aston Martin Formula One.
The collaboration, unveiled in September, marked the first anniversary of the Glenfiddich–Aston Martin alliance. The 16-year-old whisky, aged in American oak casks, is noted for its sweetness with hints of maple syrup and caramelized ginger. At Raffles Makati, the debut was paired with dishes by Executive Chef Daniel Guevara of Raffles and Fairmont Makati, while Glenfiddich brand ambassador Jyri Pylkkänen guided guests through tastings of the brand’s portfolio.

Afternoon tea with a twist
The Writers Bar is offering the Heritage Afternoon Tea until October 31, 2025. The menu features sweet and savory bites inspired by Glenfiddich’s whisky flavor notes, paired with pours of the single malt served neat, on the rocks, or mixed. Afternoon tea is served daily from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

A Glenfiddich special cocktail menu is also available until October 31, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. The lineup includes:
The 1959 Spritz with Glenfiddich 12-Year-Old and pear liqueur
Warehouse 8 Whisky Sour with Glenfiddich 15-Year-Old, sugar syrup, egg white, and lemon juice
Glenfiddich Old Fashioned featuring the limited edition 16-Year-Old in collaboration with Aston Martin Formula One
