United States Embassy and National Youth Commission working together for the youth

National Youth Commission (NYC) Chief of Staff Atty. The United States Embassy through Ambassador MaryKay Carlson, and the Philippines through Jeff Ortega, chairperson of the National Youth Commission (NYC), are working together to develop the knowledge and skills of the youth.

On Jan. 14, 2025, Ambassador Carlson met recently with NYC Chairperson Ortega and other officers at the U.S. Embassy to discuss education and exchange opportunities through programs under Fulbright Philippines, Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative, Education USA Philippines, American Spaces Philippines, USAID Philippines, and Peace Corps Philippines.
