Missing boat with 7 onboard found

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – A boat reported missing in this province last week has been found.

Authorities said the boat, MB Ren-Zen 2, with seven individuals onboard was located in Dalapuri Island, Calayan Island, this province.

MB Ren-Zen 2 left the town of Claveria in Cagayan with two passengers and five crew before dawn on Wednesday, Jan. 15.

The boat was bound for Barangay Dilam in Calayan Island but encountered inclement weather along the way.

It sought refuge in Dalupiri Island and waited for the weather to improve.

They were given medical attention to ensure their well-being.
