No. 1 on Netflix: 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,' 'Wednesday,' 'The Wrong Paris,' 'She Said Maybe'
The shows “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” and “Wednesday,” and the films “The Wrong Paris” and “She Said Maybe” garnered the No. 1 position on Netflix this week.
Netflix released the rankings for its official weekly Global Top 10 of the most watched English and non-English shows and films on the platform for the period Sept. 15 to 21.
The popular Korean series “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,” starring actress Yoona and actor Lee Chae-min, maintained its No. 1 spot on the non-English TV list for the second consecutive week with 6.5 million views. This is the fifth straight week that the series placed in the top 10.
“Wednesday” season 2, starring Jenna Ortega,” is back to the No. 1 spot on the English TV list with 7.2 million views as it spent its seventh week in the top 10.
The romantic comedy “The Wrong Paris,” starring Miranda Cosgrove and Pierson Fodé, rose to No. 1 on the English Film list in its second week, receiving 21.8 million views
The German comedy “She Said Maybe” is No. 1 on the non-English Film list with 7.2 million views.
For the chart period Sept. 15 to 21, “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” placed in the top 10 in 62 countries and territories. It is No. 1 in 23 countries and territories, including the Philippines, and in the top 10 in 39 others.
