Criminal charges for qualified human trafficking have been filed against a Filipina and two foreigners for alleged involvement in online sex shows.
The two foreigners charged in the complaint were identified as Italian national Adel En Nouri and British-Indian national Centvin Menez. The Filipina respondent was identified only as “Mami Jhane.”
The complaint against them was filed by two Filipinas, both 22 years old, before the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.
“Mami Jhane,” Nouri and Menez were charged with violations of Republic Act No. 9208, the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003.
The complainants claimed that until the middle of August 2025, they have been conducting online shows in their room for at least three times a week using the laptop and viber account of “Mami Jhane.”
They told the prosecutor that they have many foreign clients for their online sex shows and, among them, Nouri and Menez.
One of the complainants said that Nouri became her regular customer and a friendship somehow developed between them after eight online shows.
She added that Nouri told her of his real name, even showed her a picture of his house in London, and informed her that he works in a department store.
The two complainants said their online shows started when “Mami Jhane,” who lives next door in the apartment, introduced herself as floor manager of the Aqua KTV in Pasay City and handles a number of women working as guest relations officers (GROs).
They said they were informed by “Mami Jhane” that she has a sideline for online sex shows that cater to foreigners for fees ranging from P5,000 to P8,000 per 30-minute show.
Due to their financial difficulties, the two complainants said they agreed to do the shows.
However, they found out that “Mami Jhane” was no longer residing in the apartment and may be one of those arrested during the raid of the Aqua KTV in Pasay City.
They decided to consult a lawyer for their fear that they may be arrested for the online shows and the spread of their nude pictures online.
They said the lawyer advised them to file charges against “Mami Jhane” and the two foreigners.
