4 communist rebels killed in Bukidnon clash

Soldiers killed four New People’s Army rebels in a gun battle in Bukidnon on Wednesday, the military said.
Fatalities were three men and an amazon.

The 403rd Infantry Brigade engaged the communist rebels at the Saldab Complex in the hinterlands of Malaybalay City and Barangay Dumalaguing in Impasug-ong following reports about their presence in the area.
Recovered in the encounter site were a gun and war materials.
Authorities have coordinated with local government units, police, and other agencies to extend assistance to families of the fatalities whose bodies were taken to funeral parlors.
No casualties were recorded on the government side.
The government continues to chase and urged NPA remnants in Northern Mindanao to surrender.
