CEBU CITY – Police here showed their readiness to comply with the five-minute response time, quickly arresting a 39-year old man accused of robbing a drug store on Monday afternoon, Aug. 11.
The Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) said Aubrey Viles Porral, a resident of Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City, was arrested five minutes after he robbed Three-Sixty Pharmacy on Katipunan St., Barangay Tisa.

Police said the suspect arrived at the pharmacy around 4:45 p.m. The suspect pulled off the robbery after noticing that there were only a few customers inside.
The suspect allegedly pointed a .38 revolver at the cashier and declared a holdup.
Police were alerted of the robbery when the suspect fled. Operatives of the Labangon Police Station deployed in nearby areas immediately responded that led to the suspect's quick arrest.
Seized from the suspect was the pharmacy's proceeds amounting to P20,600.
The .38 caliber revolver with two bullets was also recovered from the suspect's possession, police said.
Police Lt. Col. Maria Theresa Macatangay, deputy city director for operations of CCPO, said the deployment of police personnel in strategic areas keyed the suspect's immediate arrest.
"Our police are strategically deployed. As soon as the report was received, our patrollers immediately responded and true enough, in less than five minutes, the robber was arrested," said Macatangay.
Police said robbery with intimidation will be filed against the suspect.
