One of my favorite local sitcoms is ABS-CBN’s “Abangan ang Susunod na Kabanata” of Direk Jose Javier Reyes. (aliw ang baliw baliwan characters dito!) I even made a special report about it for a project in high school. (bilang lagi naman ako watch nyan every Monday night!) I am not sure if this kind of show, which features satire and spoofs of current events, will still be accepted by the TV viewing public. (marami na kasing sensitive ngayon ha!)
I remembered this show recently when our Head of Productions and Director Lex Bonife of our YouTube channel, WTFu, asked if it was ok to have a spoof character of the controversial viral videos of a gay man from China. (alam na yan ni Aling Tasing!) My answer was: “We can try.” (so go na yan!)
Our production team immediately got a talent to play the part. (bilang bawal ang babagal bagal kay direk!) They were suggesting names for the character, but I thought of using: “Ate Hong” (bilang tahong ang kinain ko before ng taping!)

The trending videos, which were made in China, are shocking. (iba ang resistensya ni akla!1,691 videos daw!) But our Ate Hong will just have a special appearance on some  WTFu episodes. (wala akong balak, gawin syang regular!)
We gave Ate Hong simple instructions for the taping. She would just appear at the start of the usual challenges for our male guests.  (sya na bahala sa atake nya sa role nya! role daw o?!) This is just an acting piece for her. (walang tototohanan!) We also informed our guest about the scene. (parang na excite pa nga sila!)
Ate Hong was able to execute her antics on our two hunks (ano kayang inexecute?!), one bodybuilder who is currently doing sexy roles for a streaming platform and one former waiter who is starting his showbiz career.
