    Married for 16 years nonstop, Judy Ann Santos says she’s ready, willing, and able to play supporting roles in TV and movie projects.
    This is how Charo Santos described the late National Artist and Superstar Nora Aunor in one of her public speeches: “Nora was a legend in life, immortal in death.”
      Julia Barreto on being nominated best actress across Judy Ann Santos and Vilma Santos: “I feel a bit embarrassed. Idols ko sila.”

    Paolo Gumabao says doing sexy scenes, including going nude in front of the camera, is a small price to pay in exchange for stardom. Paolo, son of actor-turned-politician Dennis Roldan, is inundated with TV and movie roles. He’s also invading theatre work as lead player in Walong Libong Piso. “I give all of my heart in everything that I do,” he says. He means heart and so much more.
      By the way, Paolo has seemingly left behind, career-wise, his half-brother, Marco Gumabao. A pity, since Marco is just as good-looking, if not more so.
   Gladys Reyes believes that an actor’s longevity in the business is based on two key factors: passion for acting and humility. Gladys and her husband, Christopher, own a thriving Filipino-Mexican food delivery business.
      In the midst of rains and floods triggered by a spate of storms and tropical depressions, nine-year-old Jaden Kristoff de Leon is creating his little wave in showbiz. Grandson to Nora Aunor and Christopher de Leon, Jaden debuted as a contestant on Family Feud Philippines on July 21.  
       He’s the eldest child of couple Ian de Leon and Jennifer Orcine. Jaden is in Grade 4, speaks good English, a mental note I made when I saw and heard him pass me by during the wake of his grandma Nora at the Heritage. Yes, he wants to be an actor, too, like the rest of his family.
