Man arrested for sexually harassing neighbor while high on drugs

CEBU CITY – A 21-year-old man who was believed to be high on illegal drugs was arrested after he allegedly sexually harassed his female neighbor in Barangay Bacayan here.
The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. on Monday, June 23.
Police investigation showed that the complainant was sleeping in her room when the suspect, a certain Kienjay, barged in.
Once inside the room, the man pulled the woman’s blanket and started touching her private parts.
The woman resisted and shouted for help.
With the help of neighbors, the man was cornered and was brought to the Talamban Police Station.
At the police station, the suspect admitted he had just used illegal drugs during the incident.
The man profusely sought forgiveness from the woman.
Despite the apology, the woman was determined to file charges for acts of lasciviousness against his neighbor, police said.
