15 hurt as SUV driven by teenage girl, 13, collides with van in La Union

Fifteen persons were injured in a collision between a Sports Utility Vehicle driven by a 13-year-old girl and a passenger van in Barangay Ili Sur, San Juan, La Union on Sunday morning, June 22.
Police said the SUV, a Toyota Fortuner, encroached on the opposite lane and collided head-on with the van driven by a 48-year-old man from Caloocan City.
The van driver and 14 passengers sustained injuries and taken to the Lorma Medical Center in San Fernando City, La Union.
The driver and passenger of the SUV were unharmed but were taken to the Bacnotan District Hospital in La Union for examination.
Both vehicles incurred damages with still undetermined cost of repair.
