Wanted NPA with P1.2-M bounty nabbed

GUMACA, Quezon – Police arrested a 61-year-old New People’s Army rebel wanted for murder and kidnapping in Barangay Rosario here on Saturday afternoon, June 14.
The suspect was identified as Ordasco Ordante, alias Ka Sakay, of Barangay Santa Maria Lopez, this town.
Ordante was a most wanted person on the national level and has a P1.2-million bounty for his arrest under Department of Interior and Local Government Memorandum Circular No. 2025-2.
His arrest warrants were issued by Judge Buenvinido Blancaflor, presiding judge, Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 95, Puerto Princesa City, dated Nov. 7, 2008, with no bail recommended, and kidnapping signed by Judge Jose Bayani Usman, presiding judge, Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 49, Puerto Princesa City, dated April 22, 2016, also with no bail recommended.
He is under police custody and set to be turned over to the two courts.
