Marco Sison celebrates 'Seasons of OPM' at Solaire

Marco Sison celebrates Seasons of OPM, a musical journey through the best of Filipino songs, in a major concert slated at The Theater at Solaire on July 25.

One of the enduring stalwarts of Filipino music, Marco, invites his fans and followers to relive the songs they have come to love over the years in an evening of friendship, camaraderie, and a bit of humor to boot.

In celebrating our music, Marco says the concert is his way of honouring and giving back to OPM as a movement. The playlist traces the roots of OPM to Kundiman, inching its way to the love songs and ballads of the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Marco says it's going to be an exciting line-up, one he hasn't done in his long history as a romantic balladeer. "I do hope that through this concert, I can inspire more people, especially the youth, to embrace OPM and contribute to its further growth and development."

Featuring special guests, the concert is under the music direction of Louie Ocampo, composer of one of Marco’s biggest hits, Si Aida, Si Lorna o Si Fe.

Other Marco's hit songs that continue to play on various media platforms to this day include Make Believe, My Love Will See You Through, and Ikaw Lamang, among others. His most recent recording, Sabik na Puso, was released digitally.
