Fans of Nick Lachey, Jeff Timmons, Drew Lachey and Justin Jeffre would be glad to know that the boys are still busy doing what they do best, and that is pumping out R&B laced pop tunes almost 30 years after they first came out with their debut album in 1997.

Original members intact, 98 Degrees is keeping up with the contemporary sounds of 2025, with a new album that leans heavily into synth-flavored pop.
New single “Stranger Things (Have Happened) is a mid-tempo tune that allows for a wink and nod to fans of the hit sci-fi series (hence the synth pop influences). But pop the hood and underneath you’ll still hear that distinct 98 Degrees doo-wop and R&B roots.
Note this is the second single 98 Degrees has released this year, the first being the piano-decked ballad “Got You.”
Both are included in the just released “Full Circle” album, which also include new songs such as “Same Mistake,” which frames some of the best vocal harmonization work 98 Degrees has done in a while.
Meanwhile, the acoustic pop tanginess of “Tremble” harkens back to their early 2k pop vibes. And since signing up with record label XOXO Entertainment Corp., headed by producer-pop artist Adam Hurstfield at this point in their career, 98 Degrees now has that ‘Manila connection,’ by way of XOXO Entertainment’s partnership with Viva Records whom Hurstfield has produced for (Sarah Geronimo to name one).
This now offers some interesting crossovers and collaborations like that heard on the emotional ballad “Mona Lisa,” which features “Hulaan” hit singer Janine Teñoso doing duet duties with 98 Degrees.
Katrina Velarde also figures in a new version of the 98 Degrees hit “I Do (Cherish You) with Katrina updating it with some beautiful lyric translations in Tagalog.
The rest of “Full Circle” features new versions of their hits “Invisible Man,” “Because Of You,” “The Hardest Thing,” and “Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche).”
New songs, new album, collaborations with top Pinoy pop artists and of course the groups’ hits are all set to culminate in a two-night special concert at the Mall Of Asia Arena on May 30 and 31.
Concert promoter VAA Live bills it as a night of “over-the-top swooning, reminiscing and a grand sing-along time.”
Tickets are now available at SM Tickets.
