Revolutionary, non-invasive eye-lift treatment now trending in the Philippines

The world's first non-surgical procedure that targets the main cause of unlikely aging signs around the eyes has finally found its way to the Philippines.

Emface Eye Applicator is a revolutionary eye-lift solution that facilitates a non-invasive way to smoothen, strengthen, and lift the skin under and around the eyes. The breakthrough treatment strategically targets the lower eyelids, eliminating crow's feet, dark circles, and eyebags without needles and discomfort.

"We believe that Emface Eye Applicator is a revolutionary product, a breakthrough machine that we feel we need to educate our audience and clients about," said BTL Aesthetics Philippines country manager for Aesthetics Division Ludovico Perez Jr., during an exclusive event to showcase this latest technology held at the Shangri-La Fort Manila in BGC, Taguig City, last March 24. BTL Aesthetics Philippines is a local unit of BTL Aesthetics, a European beauty technology firm founded in Prague, the Czech Republic in 1993 and currently has presence in over 80 countries worldwide.

Perez disclosed that the Emface Eye Applicator was initially unveiled at IMCAS Paris in February 2025 (a global congress for dedicated medical aesthetics and technologies) and has since been availed by the country’s leading beauty and aesthetic clinics.

"Emface Eye Applicator was also first showcased locally during the recent Emface Summit held in February in Cebu City. Our certified clinics in Metro Manila and Cebu are equally excited to offer this technology to local clients," he added.

How it works
"Emface Eye Applicator targets the cause of aging around the periorbital area through strengthening the muscles in the lower eyelids, restoring those muscles' ability to support the skin, and in the process, addressing eye bags brought about by protrusion of fat pads," said Dr. Usha Hoh, a Malaysian aesthetic expert who flew to Manila for the 'EMFACE Unveiled' event.

"The treatment also improves skin texture, softens the visible fine lines and wrinkles, and helps get rid of dark circles and puffiness through improved circulation and lymphatic drainage in the area," Dr. Hoh continued to explain.

During a session, applicators are placed under the eyes to simultaneously emit unharmful radio frequency (RF) and high-intensity focused electrical simulation (HIFES) energy. The RF stimulates the collagen and elastic fibers in the dermal layers to make the skin thicker, while the HIFES stimulates muscle density growth and facilitates new muscle fiber formation, both in ways that have never been achieved by predecessor technologies before.

The benefits

"It is the first and only aesthetics device so far that simultaneously targets the skin and muscles for natural toning, lifting, and longer-lasting effects," said Dr. Jonathan Yu, a board-certified dermatologist during his actual demonstration of the treatment in the event.

Dr. Yu recommends a series of at least four sessions, spaced at least a week apart each for optimal results. He even hinted that the ideal effects could last for a year, or possibly even longer.

"Because it is a non-surgical procedure, it is painless with no downtime but is nonetheless clinically proven to address sagging and fine lines effectively in the usually sensitive eye area. A session can only last 20 to 30 minutes, so we can say it is truly less of a hassle," Dr. Yu continued.

Emface Eye Applicator is an addition to the growing suite of game-changing and non-invasive solutions, which recently achieved a significant milestone after recording over a million treatments performed across the globe in just two years, making it today's fastest-growing facial lifting procedure in the world. Other procedures to consider include the Face Applicator and the Submental Applicator that targets double chin.
