Mayor Weslie "WES" Gatchalian led the launching ceremony on Thursday, Feb. 27.
According to the City Public Information Office, daycare students were temporarily accommodated at the 3S Center Arkong Bato while renovations were underway.
The newly improved facility is designed to enhance early childhood education and features air-conditioned classrooms, a spacious play area, decorative wallpaper, and child-friendly washrooms — all aligned with Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) standards to support the holistic development of young learners.
The city government emphasized that this rehabilitation project reflects its commitment to prioritizing children's welfare and education by providing safe, comfortable, and stimulating learning spaces.
It also reaffirmed its dedication to building a brighter future through quality education and child-friendly infrastructure.
