Body found in abandoned vehicle in Batangas

SANTO TOMAS CITY, Batangas – The body of an unidentified individual was found in an abandoned vehicle in Barangay San Rafael here on Friday night, September 6.

Police said a resident discovered the vehicle, a silver Toyota Innova with temporary plate A3F183 and conduction sticker YF7244, on the road shoulder.

He reported it to barangay officials who informed the police who opened the vehicle and found the body.

Police said no criminal incident related to the vehicle was reported in the area. Investigators said the victim could have been killed in another place and the vehicle left behind in the area to mislead them.

A follow-up investigation is ongoing.
