DOJ's Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution has new executive director

Lawyer Margaret Raizza Andaman has been sworn into office as the new executive director of the Department of Justice's (DOJ) Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR).

Andaman was sworn into office by Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin C. Remulla last Friday, Sept. 27.

“I am delighted to welcome ED Andaman to the OADR and the DOJ,” said Remulla.

“Her extensive experience in the field will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement of ADR in our country,” he said.

He then advised Andaman "to set your path ablaze and lead in the administration of justice through ADR”

The DOJ said that “ADR serves as a crucial tool in the government’s efforts to reducing court congestion and ensuring that the justice system works for all Filipinos swiftly and efficiently.”

Andaman succeeded former OADR executive director Irene D.T. Alogoc.

Prior her appointment, Andaman was an associate of the law office of former minister of justice and solicitor general Estelito P. Mendoza.
