ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo and his brother-broadcaster Ben Tulfo could be joining Senator Raffy Tulfo in the upper chamber in 2025.

This, after Erwin--a consistent survey leader--and Ben recently confirmed their senatorial bids next year.

But won't it be a bad look to have three members of the Tulfo brood in the Senate at the same time? Erwin, the deputy majority leader for communications in the House of Representatives, says it's all up to the voters, really.

“Well, we'll leave it to the voters. We'll leave it to the public. Kung gusto nila, then, nasa sa kanila yun (If they want three Tulfos in the Senate, then it's up to them)," said the rookie congressman.

"Kung ayaw nila, kung ayaw nila ng Tulfo pa sa Senate, then tama na si Raffy, si Senator Raffy, then nasa tao, yun," he added.

(If they don't want it, if they don't want another Tulfo in the Senate, then Raffy, Senator Raffy is enough, then its up to the people.)

If anything, Erwin vowed to Filipinos: "Hindi ko ho kayo bibiguin. At hindi ho kayo mapapahiya. Siguro naman hindi ho napahiya yung pamilya namin nung binoto niyo po yung kuya ko, si Senator Raffy."

(I will not fail you. You won't be ashamed with your choice. My family probably wasn't embarrassed when you voted for my older brother, Senator Raffy.)

Raffy won his seat in 2022. He will remain a senator until 2028.

Erwin was recently named part of the administration Senate slate for the 2025 mid-term elections under the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas banner.

He said his brother, Ben, will run for senator next year as an independent.

The Tulfo journalists gained fame for their popular public affairs programs and their natural charisma.
