Carolina Macasaet, daughter of Melo’s founder, and her husband, Paul Macasaet, are set to open The Beef Bar at Molito Lifestyle Center in Alabang, with the grand opening on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024. While they continue to operate Melo’s Steakhouse locations in Alabang, Quezon City, and BGC, the couple saw an opportunity to create a new, more modern steakhouse concept, quickly assembling a team to bring The Beef Bar to life.

The Beef Bar combines approachable, beef-focused dishes with a modern steakhouse experience. While building on the legacy of Melo’s, the restaurant offers a distinct take, featuring a more casual and laid-back ambiance aimed at a younger crowd.

The menu highlights a variety of beef-centric offerings, including starters like Beef Tataki on Crispy Rice and a Steak Cobb Salad. Signature dishes include The Beef, a Certified Angus Beef ribeye served with steak rice, and The Boss, an Australian porterhouse ideal for sharing. Other notable items include the Umami Steak Bowl, Steak & Enoki Frites, a Sizzling Angus Burger, and a Short Rib Steak Pie.
