Award-winning Singaporean delicatessen brand Delicato recently announced the launch of its gourmet sausages in the Philippine market. The pork sausage range, featuring unique flavors like truffle cheese and mixed herbs and spices, is made with premium-quality meat and aims to enhance customers’ daily meals.
Delicato was introduced by FairPrice Group (FPG), Singapore’s largest grocery retailer, in 2021 through FPG’s Own Brands business. Initially launched as a delicatessen counter in FairPrice Finest, Delicato's fine offerings quickly gained popularity. The brand has since expanded to include a variety of retail gourmet products, with its sausage range as a centerpiece.
Grace Cukingnan-Chua, CEO of Own Brands and Food Solutions at FairPrice Group, said the launch in the Philippines is part of FPG’s commitment to bringing Singapore’s best products abroad.
“Filipinos are discerning customers with high expectations for taste and quality, making the Philippines the perfect first stop in our expansion,” Cukingnan-Chua said. “Having grown up in the Philippines, I know how important mealtime is in showing love and appreciation for family. We’re excited to bring Delicato to more of our kababayans.”
Delicato’s sausages are known in Singapore for their variety of flavors and meaty texture. Curated by a team of meat specialists, the sausages are made with premium meat, resulting in a firm bite that retains juiciness. The brand aims to elevate dining experiences with a gourmet touch.
Since its launch, Delicato has received industry recognition, including Product Launch of the Year and Designed in Singapore awards at the FMCG Asia Awards 2022.
Delicato is introducing five popular flavors in the Philippines: truffle cheese pork sausage, cheddar bratwurst pork sausage, hot and spicy pork sausage, smoked bratwurst pork sausage, and mixed herbs and spices pork sausage. They are available nationwide at over 100 major grocery outlets, including S&R, SM, Unimart, Landmark, Makati Supermarket, AllDay, and Royal Duty Free.
