Mixologist Jay Gray's bar takeover at C Lounge: A weekend of tea-infused cocktails

Conrad Manila spices experience at C Lounge, the hotel’s contemporary lounge by the bay, with a bar takeover featuring award-winning mixologist Jay Gray. In collaboration with Dilmah teas, guests can expect innovative tea-infused cocktails from September 20 to 22, 2024.

“In the Philippines, Christmas season starts as early as September, and we are thrilled to kick off these festive celebrations with an exclusive experience at C Lounge. Guests at Conrad Manila can indulge in a truly elevated holiday atmosphere, enjoying soul-satisfying cocktails uniquely crafted by renowned mixologist Jay Gray. This special event not only offers a taste of the latest cocktail trends but also invites our guests to engage with Jay, making it an unforgettable evening of luxury and joy,” says Fabio Berto, general manager of Conrad Manila.

During this limited time, guests can choose from a selection of tea-infused cocktails, such as Bright and Stormy—a concoction of chamomile and ginger soda, dark rum, lime, Angostura bitters, and honey; Jasmine Americano—a blend of green tea and jasmine soda, sweet vermouth, and Campari; and Breakfast Martini—a fusion of brilliant breakfast cordial, lemon and lime elixir, orange marmalade, lemon juice, and Aer. Other must-tries are Gray’s signature creations: Peach Fuzz, made of peach elixir, lemon, gin, Cointreau, and Aer; and Tie Tie Fizz, a mix of Tie Guan Yin soda, sweetened black tea elixir, and apple cordial. Guests will also get to chat with Gray and learn about the art of mixology. With prices starting at P480++, cocktail lovers can expect a truly unforgettable weekend at C Lounge.

The mixology visionary behind Sago House, ranked 15th on Asia’s 50 Best Bars in 2024, Gray is a veteran mixologist known for his creative flair and deep knowledge of cocktail culture. He began his career in the bar industry in London and eventually relocated to Singapore, where he co-founded the award-winning cocktail bar Sago House. Notable personal accolades include Honouree for Tatler’s Generation-T, Prestige 40 Under 40, August Men of the Year, and Brand Ambassador of the Year at the Singapore Bar Awards.

Conrad Manila’s bar takeover featuring Gray is exclusive to C Lounge on September 20 to 21 (5 p.m. to 9 p.m.) and September 22 (2 p.m. to 6 p.m.).
