The International Manila Food and Wine Festival 2024, in partnership with the Department of Tourism and the Restaurant Owners of the Philippines (Resto PH), aims to establish the Philippines as a major player in Asia’s gastronomy tourism scene. This year's event will showcase the country’s rich culture and how its diverse food scene reflects various influences.

The festival will explore the Philippines' food and beverage industry, fostering connections between restaurants and communities to elevate Manila and the country as a culinary hub. The focus is on placing the Philippines firmly on the global food map.

On September 18, 2024, Manila Gastronomiya will gather chefs, restaurateurs, business owners, food producers, and experts to discuss boosting the industry through gastronomy tourism and doubling its size by 2030. The symposium will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Grand Westside Hotel. It will build on past successes and further explore Filipino cuisine and its community impact.

On September 19, 2024, Chef Lisa Revilla and Chef David Thien will present a five-course Filipino-French gourmet dinner. Revilla, a Philippine native, trained in New York, while Thien, from near Bordeaux, France, has Michelin-star experience. Based in Davao, they offer private dining at 16 Ramona and will provide unique insights into the cultural intersection of food.

To experience Filipino cuisine’s potential for tourism and local economic growth, the International Manila Food and Wine Festival 2024 is a key step in highlighting the Philippines as a top culinary destination in Asia.
